Lymphoma
Project description
Lymphoma means cancer of the lymphoid tissue. Lymphoid tissue is present all over the body, therefore lymphoma is further classified based on the initial site e.g. alimentary lymphoma and cutaneus lymphoma. The prognosis of the affected dog varies based on initial site and type of the tumor.
Breeds
Finnish Hound.
Samples from lymphoma affected dogs from all breeds are welcome.
Which samples are needed:
- dogs that have been diagnosed with lymphoma
- close relatives (parents, siblings, offspring) of the affected dogs
- healthy dogs over 7 years of age
