Epilepsy is one of the most common disease in most of the breeds of dogs.  It is a major health problem in our dear pet.  Canine epilepsies resemble human epilepsies and by studying the dogs and comparing results with humans, we can improve the health of both species.   We are  part of a large international consortium that studies dog epilepsies. If you have  epileptic dog, please contact us and submit a blood sample from your affected dog for our study.  Every sample is important. Try to get samples also from other siblings and relatives of your affected pet. It is also important to describe the seizure phenotype of you dog for us.
